Teen Gym: Tuesdays at 7:30 pm duringTeen Gym allows teenagers to develop strength, flexibility and gymnastics skills in a class geared towards individual goals and interests. Beginners will be introduced to the world of gymnastics with instruction on all apparatus while previous gymnasts can focus on specific areas of interest and move at their own pace.
This class will focus on the CanGym program which is based on Gymnastics Canada’s three philosophical pillars for all recreational programs: Fun, Fitness and Fundamentals. This is a progressive badge program for boys and girls used by most gymnastics clubs in Canada. Individuals can advance through the badges at the pace most appropriate for them. Progress reports are distributed at the end of our sessions and aid in monitoring the progress of each individual.
